The Trilogy Ingredients Standard requires the maximum amount of natural and organic ingredients, clear ingredient labeling and the minimum amount of ingredient processing and synthetic ingredient inclusion.
There are over 140 ingredients in Trilogy product preparations. We believe it is our responsibility to trace and understand the origins and provenance of all our ingredients right back to source to ensure that all our ingredients are derived from environmentally responsible sources and make a positive economic, social and cultural contribution to the communities growing and manufacturing them.
At Trilogy we only use the word 'organic' to describe ingredients holding certification verified by a recognised third party accreditation body. Without certification, we believe the word 'organic' can be misleading.
We began sourcing Certified Organic Rosehip Oil, the key ingredient in Trilogy products in partnership with a fair trade cooperative in Lesotho, central Africa in 2002.
We now purchase Certified Organic Rosehip Oil from a Certified Organic source in the mountainous regions of Chile.
Trilogy Rosehip Oil is certified by BioGro accredited by IFOM (International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements).
