What are you working on at the moment?

Right now, I am working on a project that I am very excited about which is empowering women.

What are you inspired by?

I have always been inspired by helping people, even when I was little, and something triggered a couple of years ago where I realised there wasn’t anything for women over 40, they’re not talked about. So I started a website called Miss V Society to join in this conversation.

How should older women be perceived?

When you look in places like Europe, there is a real embracing of older women, she’s still sexy, smart and over 40. I’d love to see that happen more here.

How do we change perceptions?

I think the change happens within the women. It’s about us actually embracing ourselves. And hence lot of what I do is working with women to find their own confidence

Tell us about creativity and self-expression.

I’m an artist and I believe we’re all artists, we just need to be given the right tools, because the wonderful thing about being an artist is that we don’t have to get it right

Day 1 : Beauty Oil 101

What are you most proud of?

I’m most proud of being a mum and my son. Being a mother is the most creative process you could actually go through

What is the best thing about being over 50?

I love being over 50 because I feel more confident than ever and really knowing my value. The older I get the more excited I get, the more passionate I am, innovative I am and my confidence actually allows me to be a better creator.

How old do you feel?

I feel 20 inside. I feel like a bursting school kid with so much to do.

Who are your female role models?

I love Diane Keaton! I love her because she's vulnerable and honest, quirky and real! The other one is Meryl Street. I think she's amazing.

Whats your favourite beauty advice?

My favourite advice for skincare is to smile, it’s the most natural face lift. I love that one.
