What certifications does Trilogy hold?

Trilogy is a NATRUE certified brand, an internationally recognised standard for natural cosmetics that sets strict criteria around natural ingredient sourcing, and prohibits synthetic fragrances, mineral oils, and genetically modified ingredients. Trilogy was the first New Zealand skincare brand to achieve NATRUE brand certification in 2012. Many Trilogy products also carry BioGro organic certification, New Zealand’s leading organic standard focused on sustainable farming, ingredient traceability, and organic integrity.
Does Trilogy test on animals?

No. Trilogy does not test its products on animals and is committed to cruelty free practices. This commitment is also reinforced through Trilogy's NATRUE brand certification, which prohibits animal testing across the brand's operations.
What makes Trilogy's Certified Organic Rosehip Oil different from other rosehip oils?

Trilogy's Certified Organic Rosehip Oil is cold-pressed from wild-harvested rosehips and batch-tested to ensure it contains a minimum of 80% essential fatty acids. It is 100% pure rosehip seed oil, fragrance free, and holds BioGro organic certification. Each batch is individually tested for quality and potency, making it one of the most rigorously verified rosehip oils available.
Are Trilogy products made with synthetic fragrances?

No. Trilogy products do not contain synthetic fragrances. Where fragrance is present, Trilogy uses natural essential oils only. This is also a requirement of Trilogy's NATRUE brand certification, which prohibits the use of synthetic fragrances.
Where are Trilogy products made?

Trilogy products are proudly made in New Zealand using sustainably sourced natural ingredients. The only exception is our SPF 60+ Omega-Boost Sheer Mineral Sunscreen, which is manufactured in Australia to comply with Australia's stringent regulatory requirements for sunscreen products — one of the most rigorous sunscreen standards in the world.

Trilogy products that are water-free, such as oils and balms, are preservative free. Water-based products require preservatives to protect against the growth of yeasts, moulds, and bacteria, ensuring product safety and shelf life. Trilogy uses carefully selected preservative systems that align with its natural formulation standards as a NATRUE certified brand.
How does Trilogy approach sustainability and packaging?

Trilogy is committed to reducing its environmental impact. The brand has transitioned many of its plastic bottles to glass and introduced PCR (post-consumer recycled plastic) for tubes.
